Essential Oils

The Power of Essential Oils

For centuries essential oils have been utilized for aiding the healing processes, uplifting the mind and spirit, and cleansing the body. Did you know that at least 80% of all pharmaceutical drugs came from studying the properties of plants, namely essential oils? Did you know that when you steep herbal tea you are releasing essential oils from the plant and that essential oils protect and help the plant grow? They seem to do the same things for us humans as they did for their kind. Herbs are the healers.

 

The body can respond to herbs because of their chemical likeness to our own cells. We respond to them on a cellular level. The healing power is in the oils. They ignite that power in us by improving our circulation, relieving pain, reducing inflammation, calming brain activity, and so much more.

Using the Oils

Oils are safely used topically, aromatically and internally. Only one or two drops can calm us and start us on our own healing journey. Utilizing oils to maximize a body blueprint reset can create stronger nueral pathways in the brain and body. Our bodies are the healers. They access and assimilate compounds to aid the healing process.

 

Breathing (aromatic) at the beginning and topical application at the end of the Vital Core technique will give the boost and balance to keep your body more stable are ready against the onslaught of stress, toxins, and everyday living.

When and Where to Place the Oils

For the Vital Core, essential oils are used both at the beginning and end of the technique. An oil is used aromatically (smell) at the beginning before staring the spins, and applied to the feet at the end of the technique. Details are included in the Hands On section for the appropriate steps.

The effectiveness of essential oils can also be enhanced by application to specific areas of the body prior to receiving the Vital Core technique, and particularly in conjunction with the Vital Focus. Details on oil selection, placement and timing are included in the Pro Tips section of this website.

Mindset

The Power of Mindset

Did you know a person can control their heartbeat? That is the power of mindset. We can determine outcomes by focusing on them during times of healing and duress. Focusing on outcomes with a clear vision can allow powerful achievement and changes for our body and spirit. Setting intentions and saying them, declarations, can speed the process by which change can take place. Psychologists suggest that the mind creates thousands of thoughts daily and about 60% of them seem to be negatively oriented. Negative thoughts stall progress and healing. 

Using ‘I Am’ Statements, Declarations such as:  

“I am open to reset my body blueprint to receive health, energy and life fulfillment.”,

can replace and supercede negative comments, thoughts that the brain generates. Saying “I am” declarations aloud gives the subconscious and the conscious minds the change agents necessary to override negative input and begin to create new superhighways, neuropathways that replace old ways and destructive ways of acting and thinking.You are not hardwired; there is neuroplasticity in the brain. You are softwared  to continually be able to change.

 

Smell creates the most retrievable and strongest memory recall. Activating the neurons through the feet and adding essential oils to activate the limbic system, creates the most retrievable and strongest memory recall of any other sense.  A great way to have a healthy mindset is through positive memory recall. Sight, touch, hear, and smell are all integral parts of Vital Core technique

The Power of Spinning

Spinning is the general term we use for applying the Vital Core Technique. It creates the momentum and focus to clear, open and energize the body, and support balance and reset of the body blueprint. The continuous momentum of the spin with essential oils and mindset intention accelerates, intensifies and focuses the natural healing capability of body, mind and spirit.

 

3 Spinning Motions

Spinning involves three basic spinning motions.

Spin is the most frequently used technique in Vital Core. It is a spiral motion applied by the knuckle of the index finger.  

Spiral is a circular stationary spin. 

Thumb Spin employs the thumb in a spinning motion that flexes over and between the tops of the toes.

Whole Arm

It is important to use your entire arm to make the spins. This is one of the most important elements of mastering this technique.

 

Spinning by rotating only from the wrist or elbow diminishes the effect of the spin, and creates additional strain on your joints. 

Elbow Away From the Body

Be sure your arm is never right next to your body. Otherwise, you will end up putting too much pressure into the spin. Keep your elbow at least 3 inches away from your body so the arm can rotate.

 

This is one of the best indicators that you are doing the spin arm motion correctly.

Hand Position

Spinning is usually done with the knuckle of the index finger. Spin in the direction indicated.

 

Rotate the wrist from palm facing downward, to palm facing sideways. Curl the fingers toward the palm and form a "knuckle" position with the index finger and thumb. 

Momentum of the spin is forward or backward. To go sideways, rotate your arm to continue leading the spin with the side of the index finger knuckle.

Both hands work together on every spin. One hand performs the spin with the other supports the foot or toes.

Spin Technique - Clay Practice

Spinning in Clay

To get a better feel for the proper motion and amount of pressure to use with your spinning, practicing in a piece of clay can greatly accelerate your progress.

Sculpting clay is best, as it offers enough resistance to properly gauge the depth of pressure you should be applying. It will also clearly show your spinning motion, and give you immediate feedback regarding the shape and consistency of your spins. 

 

How To

Roll the clay out in a slab approximately 1/2 in thick. Spin a straight line away from you from one edge of the clay to the other.

 

The loops should be fairly tight and even and nicely rounded across the whole spin. Press into the clay to leave a depression of only about 1/8 inch. Going deeper than this will create undue pressure on the person receiving the spin, and may actually block some of the beneficial effects of the Vital Core. Pressure lighter than this will fail to penetrate deeply enough to achieve the greatest benefits.
